HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A 15-year-old was killed, and an 18-year-old was injured in a shooting late Monday night, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

According to investigators, deputies were called to a home on Remington Ridge Drive around 10 p.m.

Investigators said when deputies arrived, they found the two male victims with gunshot wounds. The sheriff's office said it believes there was an argument before shots were fired between the two.

The 15-year-old and 18-year-old were taken to the hospital in critical condition before the 15-year-old died, HCSO Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in an update.

Deputies said the 18-year-old is out of the hospital.

It's unclear what may have led to the argument or whether there will be any charges.
